One of the most challenging task is perfume selection with so many different scents available. With a wide variety of scents available, there are also different fragrance concentrations. Underneath the name of the perfume on a bottle will generally be the fragrance concentration. A fragrance concentration refers to the strength that a fragrance has. Perfumes with a higher fragrance concentration contain more perfume oils and less alcohol. Fragrance concentrations divided into  categories including parfum, eau de parum, eau de toilette, eau de cologne, and eau fraiche.

Parfum has the most concentrated form, contains 20%-30% fragrance concentration in oil. Perfume oil longevity 6-10 hours on the skin.

EDP stands for Eau De Parfum, EDP contains a higher concentration of essential oils, approximately around 12% 15%. EDP lasts long as EDP has a high percentage of fragrance and other essential oils in alcohol. EDP lasts about 5-7 hours on your skin. The scent of EDP is a solid & deep scent. It is recommended to wear on evening occasion such as date night, special dinner night.

EDT stands for Eau de Toilette. EDT is the lighter version of EDP. EDT is a good choice for those who don’t like a deep, rich, and strong scent. EDT contains around 7%-12% of fragrance and essential oils. EDT typically lasts on the skin for around 4-5 hours. EDT is ideal for everyday use.  

EDC stands for Eau De Cologne It is lighter than EDT, often referred to as Cologne, and has the most significant dilution of fragrances with a 3-5% concentration of perfume essence. It usually lasts for 2 hours.

Eau Fraiche Eau Fraiche on the other hand, will last for the shortest duration. It usually lasts for 1 to 2 hours.The fresh smell makes it the best choice for summer.
