Yves Saint Laurent launched Kouros by Yves Saint Laurent in 1981 as an aromatic fougere fragrance for men. Fragrance that embodies strength, masculinity, and timeless sophistication. Inspired by the statuesque elegance of ancient Greek sculptures, Kouros is a bold and iconic scent designed for the confident, modern man. Korous by Yves Saint Laurent opens up with bergamot, sage, coriander and Artemisia then moves onto a blend of jasmine, orris root, cinnamon, vetiver and patchouli then finishes off with smooth amber, musk, vanilla, oakmoss, leather and sweet honey. The fragrance is lead by Musky, Animalic tones, with a nice combination of spices and honey supporting things to a wonderful, warming and unique masculine fragrance that's perfect for the colder months of Autumn and Winter. The note behind this fragrance was created by Pierre Bourdon. Top notes: Bergamot, clary sage, coriander, Artemisia and aldehydes. Heart notes: Jasmine, orris root, geranium, cinnamon, vetiver, patchouli and carnations Base notes: Musk, amber, vanilla, tonka bean, oakmoss, leather, civet and honey. How to Apply: Apply it to your body warmest points, such as crease of your elbows and wrists that intensifies longevity of the fragrance. Avoid rubbing after application as this will reduce the longevity of the fragrance. For wrist application, apply the fragrance after hand washing.
