In 2012 British perfuming genius Roja Dove created Amber Aoud Absolue Précieux, which was released under his own Roja Parfums brand. The fragrance opens with top notes of Bergamot, Lemon and Lime before moving on to a heart consisting of Fig, Jasmine, Rose de Mai and Ylang Ylang. The base is a complicated mix of notes, consisting of Ambergris, Benzoin, Birch, Cinnamon, Musk, Oakmoss, Orris Root, Oud, Patchouli, Saffron and Sandalwood. Widely regarded as a masterpiece of a fragrance, this goes beyond being just a fragrance and enters the realm of being an experience, thanks in part to the super fine ingredients that Roja uses. Those high quality ingredients have been blended to perfection by a master of their craft. The scent is luxurious to the extreme and is the most wonderous or Rose-Amber-Oud fragrances out there.
