Sedley is a gender neutral fragrance, from the Woody Aromatic family, which was launched in 2019 by French fragrance company Parfums De Marly. The fragrance was created by master perfumer Olivier Cresp and Hamid Merati-Kashani, who composed a very luxurious, light and fresh fragrance here ideal for Spring and Summer. The fragrance has top notes of Mint, Lemon, Bergamot, Grapefruit and Mandarin Orange; in the middle of the fragrance are notes of Lavender, Rosemary, Olibanmum and Geranium; and in the base of the fragrance are Ambroxan, Vetiver, Cashmeran, Sandalwood, Cedar and Patchouli. The fragrance opens with an exciting and energetic spritz of Citrus and Mint, but as the scent develops the Lavender comes into play, and soon afterwards the Musk begins to play a major role. From start to end it dances with fresh energy and fizz and some how manages to last and lasts, often lasting for in excess of 10 hours. Elegant, modern, and long-lasting—ideal for the contemporary fragrance lover.
