Master perfumer Olivier Cresp created L'Air du Temps L'Air du Printemps for Nina Ricci, a feminine floral fragrance that was launched in 2009 as a modern day version of the legendary L`Air du Temps, which was launched more than 70 years earlier. Despite the idea being to give the original a modern make over, the fragrance is notably different and in many ways should be seen as having been inspired by L`Air du Temps, rather than a pure flanker. The top notes here are Rose, Floral Notes and Citron, which simmer down nicely into the middle notes of Jasmine and Frangipani whilst the base notes are Musk, Pear, Sandalwood and Virginia Cedar. The result of Cresp's mastery of perfumes is that we are left with a gorgeously sweet floral scent, with great longevity and a touch of Paris running through it. Elegant, modern, and long-lasting—ideal for the contemporary fragrance lover.
