The fragrance was created by Gerard Goupy, Jean-Charles Niel and Yves Tanguy, and has a name that translates from French to English as Black Magic. The top notes of the fragrance are Galbanum, Cassis, Cassia, Hyacinth, Bulgarian Rose, Raspberry and Bergamot; the middle notes are Honey, Narcissus, Cedar, Orris Root, Ylang-Ylang, Tuberose, Jasmine and Lily-of-the-Valley; and the base notes consist of Oakmoss, Spices, Civet, Incense, Patchouli, Amber, Myrrh, Sandalwood, Vetiver and Musk. The fragrance is bewitching, unique, and ensnaring, with dark qualities and green notes.
