Issey Miyake launched L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme by Issey Miyake in 1994 as a woody aquatic fragrance for men. Issey Miyake uses very unusual and rare materials in order to create perfumes that evoke the sense of timeless freedom and serenity. The fragrance was inspired by the traditional baths and the aroma of yuza a citrus that is widely used in Japan. L'Eau D'Issey Pour Homme was created as a universal fragrance that is perfect for any occasion. L'Eau d’Issey Pour Homme by Issey Miyake opens up with vibrant freshness of yuza the iconic Japanese’s citrus with tangerine. It than moves onto a soft aquatic heart of lily that evokes that of a powerful waterfall. It finishes the fragrance with warm and spicy base notes of tobacco, vetiver and sandalwood that bring an energy and makes this scent assertive and masculine. The bottle design is the iconic style of L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme that has transcended time as well. Inspired by the waterfalls it has a contemporary slender glass that widens at the base in contrast with the grey lid. Top notes: Calone, yuzu, tarragon, mandarin orange, cypress, coriander, lemon, bergamot, sage and lemon verbena. Heart notes: Blue lotus, lily-of-the-valley, saffron, bourbon geranium, ceylon cinnamon, mignonette and nutmeg. Base notes: Tobacco, amber, cedar, sandalwood, musk and Tahitian vetiver. How to Apply: Apply it to your body warmest points, such as crease of your elbows and wrists that intensifies longevity of the fragrance. Avoid rubbing after application as this will reduce the longevity of the fragrance. For wrist application, apply the fragrance after hand washing.
