L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Intense is a woody fragrance for men created by Jacques Cavallier and launched in 2007 by Issey Miyake. The fragrance is an intense edition of the popular L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme, and keeps much of the DNA of the original, whilst adding some more strength to it. The top notes are Yuzu, Bergamot, Sweet Orange and Mandarin Orange which lead into a heart composed of Nutmeg, Lotus, Cinnamon, Cardamom and Saffron. The base notes are Incense, Papyrus, Ambergris, Benzoin and Amber. As with the original it's the Cinnamon and Cardamom that really give the fragrance it's overall vibe, but the added Incese and Papyrus give the fragrance a new, darker edge on the dry down. That darker edge gives it a rather unique feel, and distances it from the original L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme. Elegant, modern, and long-lasting—ideal for the contemporary fragrance lover.
