Hugo Boss launched Boss Number One by Hugo Boss in 1985 as an aromatic fougere fragrance for men. Regarded as an iconic masculine fragrance this is a powerhouse of a scent that gives off vibes of power, confidence and someone who is self-assured. Boss Number One opens up with refreshing composition of grapefruit, lemon, basil, bergamot, juniper, caraway, apple and Artemisia then moves onto wild floral cocktail blend of sage, jasmine, orris root, rose, geranium, lavender, lily-of-the-valley and sweet honey then finishes the scent with smooth musk with cinnamon, tobacco, patchouli, cedar, amber, oakmoss and sandalwood. From start to end it exudes class, sophistication and power. As a fragrance it's wonderfully balanced and smooth. Given its power it's better suited to the colder months, particularly in Autumn and Winter, but can be worn year-round. The fragrance was created by Pierre Wargnye, and despite being re-formulated over the years, to remain contemporary, it is still a hugely popular fragrance. Top notes: Grapefruit, basil, lemon, juniper, bergamot, caraway, green apple and Artemisia. Heart notes: Sage, jasmine, orris root, rose, geranium, lavender and lily-of-the-valley and honey. Base notes: Musk, cinnamon, tobacco, patchouli, cedar, amber, oakmoss and sandalwood How to Apply: Apply it to your body warmest points, such as crease of your elbows and wrists that intensifies longevity of the fragrance. Avoid rubbing after application as this will reduce the longevity of the fragrance. For wrist application, apply the fragrance after hand washing.
