Created by Edmond Roudnitska and launched in 1966 by Dior the fragrance is a citrus aromatic one for men. Sauvage has top notes consisting of Lemon, Bergamot, Basil, Rosemary, Caraway and Fruity Notes; middle notes of Jasmine, Coriander, Patchouli, Carnation, Orris Root, Sandalwood and Rose and base notes of Oakmoss, Vetiver, Musk and Amber. The fragrance is an incredibly fresh one, with lovely citrus notes that give off a zesty and exciting opening, before going through a green and herby heart then eventually settling on the oakmoss base. The fragrance is strong, masculine and unapologetic, yet also classy and sophisticated. With the citrus opening, this is ideal for Spring and Summer months.
