Launched in 2008 Ambre Gris is an amber woody fragrance for women, created by Guillaume Flavigny and launched by Pierre Balmain. The fragrance has top notes of of Pink Pepper and Sage; middle notes of Myrrh Oil, Tuberose, Incense and Frangipani; and base notes of Benzoin, Ambergris, Tonka Bean and Cedar. Amber Gris introduces it's self with strong, warm spicy notes, before transitioning to a resinous, sweet, thick joy that has a touch of smoke and a very slight saltiness to it. It's a unique scent, but a very inoffensive, smooth and delightful one, that has warm, comforting qualities making it perfect for Autumn and Winter.
